Dishes

Dishes are square 25 x 16 cm approx. or round 20cm diameter approx.  All these pots are individually made and so sizes and decorations will vary. They are decorated with slips, sprigging and scraffito designs based on things which have been found in the garden.

The Work:

Mary Johnson makes slip decorated earthenware ceramics at her studio in Derby.

This hand made pottery uses traditional craft skills, applied in contemporary and unusual ways.
